We already successfully E-FILED with FREETAXUSA dot com.
Everyone with the same problem for widows/widowers: use freetaxusa dot com to e-file. TurboTax is not asking for both the surviving spouse and deceased spouse's ID numbers.
Most folks here do not need a tax extension filing macuser22. Good luck and I appreciate you volunteering to help sheltered-in-place or homebound seniors over age 65 to 100 plus to mail in their paper returns as needed. It's so kind.
