Try these steps:
- Sign in to your account and select the Fix my return button.
- Select the Fix It Now button under FEDERAL Return Rejected.
- On the Let's fix your returns and then refile screen, select Fix it now.
- Enter your IP PIN in the field provided and select Continue.
- If you weren't able to find your IP PIN, select I can't find my IP PIN. We'll give you a phone number to call at the IRS or you can select File by Mail if you can't get a new IP PIN.
- Confirm your IP PIN on the Make sure you're using your Identity Protection PIN screen is correct, and then select This is my assigned IP PIN - Continue.
- Select the Continue to refile button to e-file your return again.
