I have this same issue. I entered the entire amount of the foreign tax paid in Box 7 when entering the 1099-DIV into Turbo Tax. But, when I choose that I have to adjust this amount and enter the amount only applicable to the nominee, the amount also changes in Box 7 to the adjustment amount. What am I doing wrong?
