You will need to be in TurboTax Online to delete a form this way. You will need to be signed in and working in TurboTax.
Look on the left-hand side of the screen, in the black menu section. You can see the Tax Tools directly below Upgrade. You can follow these instructions:
- In the left-hand black menu, choose Tax Tools then Tools.
- Click on Delete a Form from the window that pops up.
- You should now see the Review Form List. Scroll down the list and click Delete on Form 3554.
- You may get a pop up telling you additional worksheets and forms are being deleted. Approve and click delete.
- You should come back to the Review Form List. Scroll to the bottom and click Continue with My Return.
If you are in TurboTax Desktop Download/CD:
- While working in TurboTax click on Forms Mode in the upper right-hand section of the screen.
- In the column to the left, scroll down until you find Form 3445. Click on it.
- You should now see Form 3554 on your screen
- On the bottom toward the left, you will see a Delete Form button. Push it.
