I've entered info from my 1099 misc but it is NOT business income. TT insists on putting it on Schedule 1 as business income which creates all sorts of problems. I am trying to manually change the info on Schedule 1 but TT won't let me. I've hit "override" but it doesn't do anything. I want the income to appear on line 8 of Schedule 1, not on line 3. How do I do this? I've seen answers to other people's questions about this, but none of the answers work for me.
