If should pick up where you left off each time you log in to your TurboTax Online account. If you are using a desktop version, you will need to save when you exit the program.
If you happen to be using online, be sure you are logging in with the same credentials each time. If you inadvertently created two returns in two separate accounts, it will not cause any harm as long as you only attempt to file one. But, you may want to choose a login that was used in the previous tax year so that it carries forward your information.
