Get your taxes done using TurboTax

I had the exact same problem on my 2019 tax submission when I went to file.  It was very frustrating as, like you, I have been retired for years and don't get W2 forms, only 1099-R forms.  I couldn't get out of this loop which kept me from filing.  Out of frustration, when it asked for my employer state, I just put in the state I was in, and for a zip code, I just put in my home zip.  It then allowed me to finish filing.  This is a bug in the system and it needs to be corrected by  Turbo Tax.  To me it is a "no brainer" if one files the taxes using 1099-R forms and social security forms -- that they are retired.  Anyway, I used your advise after the fact and went into Forms, and manually deleted the W2 form.

Come on Turbo Tax, lets get this "bug" fixed!!
