To remove the dependent, follow these steps.
- With TurboTax open select My Info in the left panel.
- Scroll down to dependents and remove the dependent.
If you have not already filed your return, then continue with preparing your return. If you have already filed your return and it has been rejected, you will now refile your tax return.
