To enter your Unemployment from your 1099-G, you will
log in to your account on TurboTax Online, or open your TurboTax Desktop
program. Then, follow the steps listed below to enter the information:
- Click Take me to my return
- Go
to Federal Taxes
- Go
to Wages & Income
- On
the Wages & Income page, look for Unemployment
- Next
to Unemployment click Show More
- Choose
to Start
After you choose to start the Unemployment section of
your income, TurboTax will guide you through entering the information.
To enter your Form 1098-T for your college expenses you can follow the
instructions listed below:
- Sign into your TurboTax
Online account
- Choose Take me to
my return
- Click on Federal
Taxes
- Click on Deductions
& Credits
- Click on "Check
for more tax breaks"
- Click on "Skip
to all tax breaks"
- Locate the section titled,
"Education" and
click to "Show more"
- Click to start the area
titled Expenses and Scholarships (Form 1098-T) and enter your
information
