As a retired software developer, I find the current situation with communicating details of updates to be very stupid and entirely unacceptable.
First, we should be given release notes so we know what was changed. If Intuit is embarrassed by the number of changes, that's too bad. We still need to know what changed.
Second, not correcting the "get details" link is totally and unforgivably unacceptable. There is no reason ANYONE can give for leading customers to click on a web link that takes them to a page WITH NO HELP!!!
Whoever is in charge of whatever lamebrained policy Intuit implemented to neglect this part of their product should be fired and replaced by a human being who actually cares about how the customer is treated.
