My wife has been receiving pension monthly payouts from her pension plan since 2005 when she retired and has been receiving a pension from State Employees Retirement System of Ohio. I was entering her 1099- R info and Turbo Tax is asking about an RMD distribution. She is 75 years old now. I am confused as to why is this issue being asked.
