The tax credits on Schedule 3 include:
- Foreign tax credit
- Credit for child and dependent care expenses
- Education credits
- Retirement savings contributions credit
- Residential energy credit.
To check which credit you are claiming:
- Log in to your account.
- Select Tax Tools then Tools from the left menu.
- Select View Tax Summary.
- Select preview my 1040 from the left menu and scroll down to check Schedule 3.
