There are fields in TurboTax Desktop that allow you to make entries directly on the Form, schedule or worksheet. There are others that if you make changes, you have to "override" TurboTax. If you override any fields in TurboTax, you cannot e-file the return and you void the accuracy guarantee. If you want to e-file the return, you will have to restore the fields which were overridden. You can make any necessary adjustments to your transactions in the Step-by-Step mode.
