The location of your 2018 tax files xxx.tax2018 may be in a location that TurboTax can not locate. To locate your xxx.tax2018 follow these steps
- Simultaneously press the Windows and E keys (or go to your Desktop and press F3) to open an Explorer window.
- In the upper right "Search" window, type *. tax2018 (replace 2018 with the appropriate tax-year return you're looking for).
- In the search results, copy down the tax file's location or path.
