Get your taxes done using TurboTax

Sorry to hear about your issue. I do not have a solution other than to say that I have experienced time lags between when 1099s are first available at Vanguard or other institutions, and the time they can be imported via TurboTax.  Just keep trying and if it is a delay issue, congratulations: the problem will disappear.

However, I do like to share a related issue that I have. In this case attempts to import from the Vanguard Brokerage portal (not to be confused with the Vanguard Mutual Funds portal) into TurboTax result in a pop-up that says "the primary owner of the brokerage account must be logged on to import this information", or essentially, telling me that my logon protocol (username and password) is not recognized.  Note I have two accounts with Vanguard, one in Mutual Funds and a new one in Brokerage which I added in 2019. This failure to logon happens only with the Brokerage account, for whatever reasons, and is more galling because I use/need the same protocol to access all my accounts on Vanguard.com. To be fair, I have used TurboTax for a number of years without any gate-keeping issues in importing, with Vanguard as well as with 3 other financial institutions including this year. Perhaps it is a database issue because the account is relatively new. But sure is mysterious, not to mention annoying.
