Certain items can get added to line 7, including:
- Dependent care FSA when Dependent Care Credit is not permitted (DCB)
- Taxable Scholarship (SCH)
- Taxable reimbursed moving expenses (i.e. you didn't enter your move in the program, but expenses on your W2
Please look at the 1040, line 7 first to see if you see a notation on the dotted line next to line 7. From there, it can be determined if its correct.
