Contributions to your church will be reported in the Charitable Contribution section of Deductions and Credits.
To enter a donation made by cash or check:
Select Federal Taxes
Select Deductions and Credits
Scroll down and select Show More at Charitable Donations
Select Start or Update next to Donations To Charity
Select Add a Charity
Enter the name and indicate that you donated money
