Once the IRS finishes the first steps of processing your tax return refund your status will change. You will receive an email from TurboTax when your tax return is either accepted or rejected. Where’s My Refund? has the most up to date information available about your refund. The tool is updated daily (usually overnight) so you will just usually need to check once a day.
