If you claimed the child as a dependent on last year’s tax return through TurboTax, the number will be retained. Perhaps you have logged into a different account?
This TurboTax account recovery website will provide a list of user ID's for an email address. Run the tool against any email addresses you may have used. Please also see here.
You may also be able to find your child's Social Security number by the following methods.
- If you have a copy of a prior year tax return that included your child, it will have the child's Social Security number.
- Medical/school records may have the Social Security number.
- Contact the Social Security Administration at 1-800-772-1213 or go online to ask for a Social Security Card replacement card.
