What do you mean by "signature code"? Are you referring to the 5-digit Self-Select PIN used to electronically sign your return, the one where you choose the 5 digits? It's on a screen with your birthdate and today's date. It shouldn't have let you proceed to efile without it. So you should explain more.
Or do you mean a 6-digit IP PIN (Identity Protection PIN) provided by the IRS to certain victims of ID theft?
Have you already efiled? If so, what is the efile status when you look at the Tax Home--is it still showing "pending?"
