hello, for some reason my original question did not post but anyway, my wife received a 1099-r and box 2a is 0 and so is box 4. Also, box 7 is code G. However, when I'm on the federal review page, the gross distribution amount added as income therefore our federal refund decreased significantly almost to nothing. I did it twice and to no avail. I've seen similar posts but could not find a direct answer. Thank you.
