To enter your 1099 SSA:
- Log in to your account.
- Go to Federal Taxes.
- Go to Wages and income.
- Scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security and click show more.
- Go to Social Security (SSA-1099, RRB-1099) and click Revisit.
- Answer Yes to the question "Did you receive Social Security or Railroad Retirement benefits in 2019?"
- On the screen"Tell us about the benefits you received" Select Social Security benefits (Form SSA-1099). The boxes will pop up and you can enter the amounts from your 1099-SSA.
