In regard to the question "How much did Wife contribute to an HAS in 2018?", there are 3 sub-questions pre-filled by TT. 1) Total Contributions: 0.00, 2) Excess Contributions: blank, 3) Deduction Allocated to Spouse: 6900.00. My wife and I both had HDHP in 2018 (her-self, mine-family) I contributed the maximum allowed for a family into my HSA, so she did not contribute anything. Does that make these pre-filled answers correct? I am unable to confirm them using the forms/lines that TT suggests because she does not have a form 8889. I am confused by the 3rd sub-question "Deduction Allocated to Spouse", what deduction is TT referring to?
