First, review numbers that were entered. Maximum earning subject to Social Security this year is $132.900 and the maximum tax is $8,240.
If an error persists, you may want to delete the W-2 and re-enter. To delete a W-2:
- Click on Federal.
- Click on Income & Expenses.
- Under Your Income and expenses, click Edit/Add to the right of W-2.
- Click the trashcan to the right of the W-2 to delete the entry.
