Please review your 1099-Div entries in TurboTax:
- Click on Federal from the menu on the left-hand side and then click on Wages and Income at the top
- Click on Edit/Add next to Dividends on 1099-DIV and click on Edit or Review next to your 1099-Div entry
- Scroll down to boxes 13 through 15 and compare your entries to what is shown on your Form 1099-Div
- Make any corrections or delete any entries that are not reported on your Form 1099-Div
Next, verify any state information reported on your Form 1099-Div in Boxes 13 through 15. If there is information in Boxes 13 through 15, does the Form 1099-Div list a state other than Texas in Box 13?
