So you are a business owner and issuing 1099s to contractors?
The IRS changed the rules this year and moved the date for filing your 1096 and W-3 to January 31, rather than the last day of February. I think you'll be fine if you mail your 1096 that it's postmarked by today. But you can also e-file those returns by using TurboTax Quick Employer Forms. See more info below.

You don't have to file your personal tax return right now. You still have until April 18, 2017 to do that.
