1099-INT
My Mom passed away in 2018, and I filed her final return. For the 2019 tax year I received several 1099-INT forms with her name and social, but the forms should have my name and social since I was the join owner on all the accounts. Do I need to get the banks to correct these forms, or can I use the amounts as interest income on my taxes since I was joint on the accounts even though my name and social are not on the forms?
