I did receive the PFL through my employer (75% of my salary) where they accounted it on the pay stubs, but did not indicate anything on W-2. So my questions are still:
1. should I check the PFL box that shows up when entering W-2? Or in other words, when should one check this?
2. and regardless of (1), what happens/ what is implied by checking this box because I do not see any difference in the assembled returns? TurboTax does not ask how much of W-2 is reported as PFL nor follows up anywhere on this.
