Your W-4 is not relevant to your tax return. The W-4 is only used by an employer for determining how much Federal income tax, if any, to withhold from your paycheck. By entering your name and SSN into TT and not marking the box that asks whether someone else can claim you as a dependent, TT will automatically give you the personal exemption for yourself in your return.
