@dontay9595 States generally get a copy of your federal return -- and therefore if you do not file a State return, they will be looking for it. So I would advise filing a state return unless your state income is low to fall below the filing requirements ( but if you had to file federal return then this generally would not be the case ). Even if your State return position is level i.e. you are not in a refund position nor in a owe position, you still should file --- you can always file by mail. IMHO
