Is your error showing up on form Sec 179 Limit or the very first 4562 page titled Form 4562 shown above it? My error was showing up on the form named Sec 179 Limit. I had to click on Form 4562 on the menu to the left, its listed above the Sec 179 Limit form. That is where I needed to populated that LINE 10 is the prior year carryover number, line 12, then go into the box below Line 11 and populate it as well. Once you populate these lines the error on the Sec 179 Limit page will go away.
