While the IRS says you can file electronically after the death of a spouse, very often you have to file by mail.
I am sorry for your loss.
There is no way to split the AGI. Unfortunately, you will have to file by mail this year. In future years you will be able to e-file electronically.
From your remarks, you seem to be doing everything correctly. You are filing Married Filing Jointly and adding in all of your husband's income. I would just continue on and choose File By Mail in the File section of TurboTax.
