Are you using desktop software, or are you using the Free Edition of TurboTax Online? If you are using a paid version, make sure your forms are clean. Usually, if you print before you pay, the forms will have a ''do not file'' watermark on them.
Or maybe you paid earlier? You can check the My Fees area to see what happened.
And yes, the homebuyer credit issue can cause you to have to mail in your tax return. Hopefully, you can get it straightened out with the IRS soon.
