Previously, my husband and I always used manual tax returns for many years by handwriting on the forms and then filed by mail. We are retired and have no W-2's. This time we use TurboTax Premier for the first time because we sold our vacation home and do not know how to file. We were told the second home or vacation home should be reported as capital gains. Basically, we have 1099's for social security income, for retirement income, and IRA'S RMD to report. We did not itemize for many years.
