Because you have alimony, you need to file a return, regardless weather or not it's enough to be taxable or not. If your return is as simple as you indicate, then why are you paying for TurboTax at all? At this point, e-filing is no longer possible. You have to mail your return to the IRS. So go to https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-prior/f1040ez--2017.pdf and download/print the 1040-EZ. Then print it out, fill it out, sign it, and mail it to the IRS. Only cost is that of a stamp.
