To get your verification code sent as a text, you have to select that option in your account settings. You will need to sign in to your account and then:
- Select Intuit Account on the bottom left
- On the Account Settings, page select the Security tab
- Select Two-Step Verification and turn it on, if it is turned off
- Enter your mobile number or select the pencil to edit your mobile number and choose Text Message under
