If you are using the same account as you did in 2018, that amount may be in there already. Here is how to check:
- Use the search box in the upper right corner to search for Estimated.
- Click on Go to estimated tax payments.
- Scroll down until you see, 2018 Refund Applied to 2019.
- Click Edit or Start next to the type of payment you need to enter.
If the payment is not already in there, add it on this screen. It goes on a different line of your Form 1040 than the estimated payment line.
