I am filing for part-year residency as I lived and worked in New York during the first 5 months of 2019 and moved to California for the last 7 months of 2019. When I enter the beginning date of New York residency does it need to be 01/01/2019 since I was still living in New York at the start of the year or does it need to be the actual date that I moved to New York which was in September of 2018?
