Fidelity forms import to Turbotax
Hi,
I am having a difficulty with TurboTax import. My tax forms are available on the Fidelity website, but TurboTax is not importing them as it pops up a screen saying the forms will be available end of Jan. How do I set TurboTax to import from Fidelity?
Thanks

Believe what it says. Just because Fidelity has the information up on the Fidelity site does not mean they have it formatted for import to tax software yet. Either wait until it is ready for import or download your documents from Fidelity and key them in by hand if you are in a hurry.

So, TT says Fidelity Forms will be available on 1/30/2020. Attempting to import this morning (1/30/2020) and I get the same message.
Perhaps they really mean "noon" on 1/30, or perhaps "after 1/30" or something.

I even called fidelity this morning and they said try it again later. It is now 4 PM CST and no joyous occasion. My response is says they will be ready on Jan 30.

If you happen to have a password with special characters for your Fidelity account, it may cause problems on your investment import. The workaround is to change your password on the account to something without special characters, complete the import, then change it back to your original password.
