Your child's social security benefits are never reported on your tax return. If that is the only child's income he/she doesn't need to file her own tax return.
To enter your 1099-SSA into TurboTax:
- Type 1099-ssa in the search box - you must be logged in and IN your tax return
- Select Jump to 1099-ssa blue link
