You can claim your 19-year-old daughter who is attending college as a dependent.
You can also claim your mother as a dependent if you provide at least half of her support and she does not earn more than $4,050 in 2016. Social Security disability benefits do not count towards this limit of $4,050.
Moreover, if your daughter has paid qualified education expenses (tuition fees,...) and receives a form 1098-T from her college, you may be eligible for education credits on your tax return.
Please follow the Education questionnaire in Turbotax (see attached screenshot) to enter her form 1098-T. Turbotax will find out if she is eligible for education credits and choose the largest break for you.
