Get your taxes done using TurboTax
I understand, however, from my specific point of view, I am seeing an increase in my taxes without changing my withholding, from 2017 to 2018. That is the bottom line. The only thing changed was a 2.7% salary increase, which should not generate a 300% increase in tax owed. I attribute this all to the tax "cuts, change in law that apparently, my particular situation is referred to as "the few who will pay more". I just did not expect that much more. Cutting my withholdings to zero or more deductions will help in that I won't have to pay a lump sum in April, but it still negates approximately 2 years' worth of salary increases by it now going into paying taxes....
