The so-called "work around" is BS. Mailing a paper copy is not viable. In a state like NY, you are required to e-file your state tax return if you prepare it with tax software. And NY state won't accept your return until the IRS accepts your Federal return. I am very disappointed in TT, a product I have used for many years.
