While there may have been a change at IRS to now accept TT returns with Form 2210 attached, I still don't see the need to include that form in my taxes this year when it has never done in the past. My tax payments throughout the year far exceeded any tax liabilities due to incomes when they occurred. I am still skeptical that the form is submitted unnecessarily under current programming. I will wait until the 3/8 update to see if any change occurs. I don't think TT would advertise an update to fix this if they were not the cause to some extent. For those who just filed and got their form accepted, you might want to rerun your taxes after the upcoming fix and keep that file (along with the accepted file) for future reference. For those who recently successfully filed after numerous rejections, TT should provide guidance on what historical forms/worksheets (if any) may change based on the fix!
