Then you get 2015 forms and mail in your return.

Not exactly. You do them separately. You can't combine them. You can do either one first. You don't have to do 2015 first.

Did you file a 2015 return last year? Then you need to amend it to add it.
Online is only for the current year so you have to buy the Desktop CD/Download program here

Or you can get the blank forms from the IRS and do them by hand. Either way you will have to print and mail prior year returns.
