Ok, not a big deal but you said "Unless you are the spouse of the deceased a POA prior to death ends at death." That is confusing because *all* POA's end at the principal's death. I think what you meant to say is if you are a surviving spouse who hasn't remarried, you don't need a POA to file a joint return with a deceased spouse.
