I am in the military and stationed in Italy. I was married on 28MAY2016, and my wife is going through the process to receive an immigrant visa. She stays at home with our daughter, while I am working. Therefore, she is supported by my income, but I cannot file jointly with her because she does not have an SSN, Tax ID Number, or a green card. Am I screwed?
