You cannot retain your work when you downgrade your program using the Online version ... when you clear to start over any entries made in the current 2016 program will be lost. FYI ... if you have Self Employment income you MUST use the SE online program... no other will work.
If you meant you want to continue & finish your return in the Downloaded version then post back for instructions.
