If you haven't yet filed your return, you can update your mailing address in TurboTax by taking the following steps:
- In your return, select "Personal Info"
- On "Personal Info Summary" page, just below
the "Add a Dependent" box in blue, you will see your Mailing
Address listed
- Click on "Edit" button to the right of your
Mailing Address
- On "Enter your current mailing address" page,
edit your mailing address as needed, and click on Continue button
- You will be returned to the "Personal Info
Summary" page
If you have already filed your return, you should use Form
8822, Change of Address, to report your new mailing address to the IRS.
