A dependent's income will not be reported on your own tax return. Instead, your son will need to file a tax return and indicate that you are claiming him as a dependent. In Turbo Tax Online, you'll need to create a separate account to file another tax return. Please follow the instructions in the Turbo Tax FAQ below to start a new tax return.
